JUST GET OVER YOURSELF

The so-called Hillary demographic of older voters, blue color workers etc are being harassed for not jumping aboard the unity pony. Their concerns about BO are not about their candidate losing as BO and his supporters charge.

As when BO, addressing the Black Caucus, said, “they’ll get over it”. Rep. Diane Watson, D-Calif., a longtime Clinton supporter, did not like those last three words — “Get over it.” She found them dismissive, off-putting AND SO DID WE.

Although BO is trying to blame racism as the reason that many people do not like him, it sure worked against Hillary, didn’t it? Trying to give whitey a guilt trip may not work this time because he does NOT have all the media pulling for him as he did in the Primaries and he’s not running against a woman.

Their concerns were and still are that he is a swaggering phony with little or no experience, unqualified for the office. Where Hillary showed competence and self-confidence, he comes on as arrogant and self important, claiming that he will clean the Aegean stables of DC politics. They just do not trust him.

And this week others are beginning to see what these voters still see, as BO not only flip flopped on NAFTA but more to the point flat out lied. He had said several times he would take public funding and now goes back on his word; even many of his avid supporters, like Russ Feingold are disgusted.

Then as a striking symbol of his utter disregard for history and his massive conceit, he unveils his own presidential seal. It is described as having symbolic differences.

Instead of the Latin 'E pluribus unum' (Out of many, one), BO's says 'Vero possumus', rough Latin for 'Yes, we can.' Instead of 'Seal of the President of the United States', BO's Web site address is listed. And instead of a shield, BO's eagle wears his 'O' campaign logo with a rising sun representing hope ahead. Wonder if he’ll wear ermine robes at his coronation?

His presidential seal had only one appearance before it was laughed out of existence. BO pulled it explaining that it was created just for one appearance and the media let him get away with that lie too.

Meanwhile women and men are launching continuing protests against the misogamy that has been a hallmark of this campaign engaged in by BO himself and the way he has urged on his supporters and used the media.

Remember how the mean-stream-media continually kissed up to and supported Bush and his war for years until people demanded the truth? Then all the pundits and commentators jumped aboard and all the secrete deals and lies were published. But it was too late for the thousands killed or maimed by a needless war.

Remember how all through the Primary, women continually brought the massive misogyny by the media, BO blogs and BO’s campaign out in their blogs and their letters and phone calls and were totally ignored?

Now when it is too late to be fair to the only female candidate, many in the media are belatedly writing and wringing their hands over what they so long totally ignored. And, characteristically, they are not demanding that this kind of treatment against women be abolished.

KNOW THIS AND UNDERSTAND IT, MSM pundits, BO AND YOUR ILK - WE WILL NOT GET OVER IT. You can no longer feed us bull and tell us its candy and piss on us and tell us it's raining.

Now that Hillary has been forced out of contention by super delegate and OINC pressure, some of the mean stream media are finally waking up to what she endured.

Katie Couric attributed the latent sexism contributed, in part, to Hillary's defeat.
She referred to one "prominent member of the commentariat" who said he "found it hard to be objective when it came to Obama."

"That's your job," she remembers thinking when hearing this, before suggesting that he "find another line of work."

Chris Matthews still has no idea. He thinks all women are hostage to Roe v Wade: "[W]omen are low-hanging fruit, though, in the terms of politics. You can reach up and say, 'I'm pro-choice, he's not.'

Many have questioned the appropriateness of Olbermann — and his primary-night partner Chris Matthews — anchoring election night coverage while espousing strong opinions of his own. During coverage of the Montana and South Dakota primaries, Tom Brokaw, on air, took him to task for alleging that Hillary Clinton was "trying to shoe-horn her way into" the night of McCain's and Obama's speeches. Brokaw later claimed that the press drumbeat for Clinton's exit from the race — of which Olbermann was a major part — was "inappropriate," and it was "commentary disguised as reporting." Jossip writes: “Keith Olbermann's popular segment is as much a place to criticize world leaders guilty of human rights violations as it is for him to defend his own.”

Phil Griffin [at MSNBC] has to repair a fractured audience base, a portion of which saw sexism in his network’s Clinton coverage and vowed to boycott MSNBC. Griffin said of the relationship between Olbermann and the Clinton supporters among his viewers. “And then you commit yourself to him, and he turns out to be a jerk and difficult and brutal. And that is how the Hillary viewers see him. It’s true.”

THE FURIES DO POST MORTEM

The night of the long knives took the msn, DNC and the obamacan bully boyz of the netroots [trying to out-drudge, Drudge] over a year to produce a final kill. They gather around the corps of the candidate they had determined to kill; gloating, taking credit inwardly but outwardly sharpening their knives for slashing continuing wounds.

“The fault”, the many pontificated, “was her own. She made so many mistakes and he ran a faultless campaign.” The few with positive and praising comments usually included a barb, a snark or a regret that there was no more blood to be shed.

But most were beyond the need for spilling more blood. They got her – they got that presumptive chick, that cocky robin that dared try to lead a country of men. Once again, misogyny won. Strut, strut, strut.

After the kill there was more fun to be had salivating over the tattered shreds and many more women to denigrate - starting with those 18 million voters who dared vote for a woman!

Well, of course they were mostly old, senile women with a few brain-dead working stiffs – all of them racists, they explained. They discounted the many young people who loyally worked on her campaign.

And the many of all ages, races, genders, religions, education and class who contributed all they could because they knew she was the best and most experienced of all.

Most tellingly, it has not been enough for them that they, and the DNC, broke their own rules to give the male candidate the winning super delegate votes. They invade women’s blogs and lists demanding total fealty, [the fidelity of a vassal or feudal tenant to his lord b: the obligation of such fidelity].

There must be total capitulation to the Precious – a bowing low on bended knee, a pull of the forelock, a public confession of their former wrongness.

Gloria Steinham on CNN which doubled teamed her with two sharks did her best [6/10/08] but failed to list major sexist remarks of the campaign save for one, the oft repeated Matthews quote. There are well over 80 well-documented examples.

And Senator Boxer’s assertion that all will now happily climb aboard the unity pony and live happily ever after is as phony as the media’s denial of sexism.

Attention Democratic Party! Republicans do NOT denigrate their female members and candidates.

We still support Hillary despite the combined power of the Democratic Party hacks, the Media Whores, and the illicit money men of the Obama campaign who have waged a vicious, nasty, hate filled, sexist campaign against her.

They continually battered her and when they battered her, they battered us.

All the sweet talk in the world will not force us to return to and embrace the demagogues of the DNC. Howard Dean, you were months too late in your recent speech condeming the battering of Hillary by your Party and your chosen candidate.

All the sweet talk from the candidate who demeans working, professional women calling them “sweety”, does not excuse how he encouraged his followers to demean and disrespect Hillary by his words, his tone and his gestures.

When BO flipped the bird to Hillary, he flipped it to us. We got the message loud and clear. You scorned her and you will continue to scorn women, expecting them to come back into your fold as battered women have always done.

Hillary got the majority of votes cast in this Primary. She lost most of the caucuses because working men and women, the ill and infirm and many others could not attend to stand for her.

The DNC stole Michigan votes from her and gave them to BO; it also gave him the “uncommited” votes so all these voters were disenfranchised and, he had taken his name off the ballot and refused to allow a fair and open revote.

And please don’t threaten us with Roe v. Wade. We don’t fall for that canard anymore. BO praised and voted for Chief Justice Roberts. Below is just one representative comment written by a Boomer.

"If my younger sisters lose Roe Wade it will be their own fault for taking the rights they have for granted, because they didn't fight for them. They are complacent and can take the time to swoon over a sexy empty suit who has already set gender relations back a minimum of 30 years, and we haven't even gotten to the General Election campaign yet. Serves them right. Not my problem. I know how not to get pregnant.

”It's my job to protect the rights I fought for that matter to me. This is a misogynist's campaign and if younger women are too busy spawning over Leland Gaunt handing out Needful Things and discussing his vibrating phone when he leans on one of them, then they will have to learn to take the consequences of their own folly along with the consolations.
